Kazakhstan's Economic Relations With Other Countries

  • China:
China is one of Kazakhstan's largest trading partners. Both countries engage in the exchange of various goods and commodities, including natural gas, oil, minerals, agricultural products and manufactured goods. Kazakhstan exports energy resources and raw materials to China, while importing manufactured goods and consumer products.

What about infrastructure projects?
Kazakhstan and China collaborate on infrastructure development projects, particularly under the Belt and Road Initiative.This initiative includes investments in transportation networks and energy infrastructure, aiming to enhance connectivity and to promote regional trade.

  • Turkey was the first country to recognize the independence of Kazakhstan on Dec. 16, 1991, with the first foreign embassy of Kazakhstan opening in Ankara in October 1992. Since gaining independence, the First President of Kazakhstan has paid Turkey 24 state and working visits, while Turkish Presidents came to Kazakhstan 15 times, but the ties between Kazakhstan and Turkey go well beyond these numbers.

Turkey is among the top investors in Kazakhstan, with Turkish companies active in sectors such as construction, finance and manufacturing. These investments contribute to Kazakhstan's economic development and infrastructure projects, creating employment opportunities and fostering business ties between the two countries.Turkey is a large textiles,construction materials exporting country. Kazakhstan exports commodities like oil, metals, and grains to Turkey, while Turkey exports finished goods and consumer products to Kazakhstan.
